Four Ponds Estate Winery
Four Ponds Estate Winery is part of an 80-acre property that contains 24 acres of well-established vineyards and four tranquil ponds. Our production facility and tasting lounge are currently under construction and overlooks the grand landscape.
Suzi Raposa is the visionary proprietor of this boutique winery nestled in the heart of Amador County, about 45 minutes southeast of Sacramento. It’s an area that is known for its Gold Rush history and for wine-growing. We are part of the California Shenandoah Valley, a specific wine region, or American Viticultural Area (AVA), specializing in Zinfandel and other Italian grape varietals. Its unique terroir in the Sierra Foothills produces wines that tend to be rich and complex.
As a first-generation Lao American, Suzi feels a deep connection to the land and its rich history. Her plans to produce high quality, handcrafted wines combines modern techniques with time-honored traditions. Our tasting lounge will reflect a contemporary and stylish aesthetic with a Southeast Asian flair, and Suzi’s legendary hospitality and warmth will make all who visit want to stay awhile.
Our commitment to sustainability, quality, and community extends beyond the vineyard. At Four Ponds, we believe that wine is more than a libation — it can bring people together and turn strangers into friends.
