We kicked off March with our first public tasting, The San Francisco Chronicle’s Wine Competition Public Tasting at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.
It was so much fun to pour our award-winning wines for the public, especially for those who returned to our table or who brought their friends back to try try our wines. It was clear by the way they thoughtfully savored each sip, pausing to think about the flavor profile, that they genuinely appreciated our craftsmanship.
We also really enjoyed communing with other winemakers and winery owners. They represented large brands like J. Lohr and Roederer Estate to small operations like ours. Everyone we met was gracious, kind and extremely supportive. One of the things that we love about this industry is that wine brings people together. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just unwinding with friends, wine and food help create lasting memories. And we love being a part of that.
Tasting Lounge
We continue to make progress on the tasting lounge and the landscaping around it. We’re starting to see things come together and that’s extremely gratifying.
Wine Club Members Update
Wine Club Members can anticipate the arrival of our spring release soon. Our inaugural release event will be Sunday, May 2 at the vineyard. Members picking up their wines can enjoy food, tours of the production facility and tasting lounge – and, of course – wine.
Our new Marsanne Now Available
Our Marsanne is now available. Medium-bodied, with a creamy, rounded texture, it pairs well with seafood, poultry and Southeast Asian dishes. We look forward to sharing our Mourvedre next and a collection of Italian varietals over the summer. Stay tuned.
